Recovering
It’s getting better all the time. Right?
We’re told all our lives to be happy. Find meaning in rote things like prayers, routines, and rituals.
But as we all did that, and we told our kids to do that, something happened.
We’re seeing it play out now. Just look at the headlines.
Our collectivism is dictated by social media companies. Our human rights are regulated by a few judges. Popular consensus, ignored by some 50 senators.
We, the people, are not happy. We, the people, languish as a child was killed by a gunman in Uvalde, Texas. And another child. And another child. And another child. And another child. And another child. And another child. And another child. And another child. And another child. And another child. And another child. And another child. And another child. And another child. And another child. And another child. And another child. And a teacher.
When the pursuit of happiness means withdrawing from society into your worship of the dollar, the followers, the rat race…they’ve beat us bad.
We can come together. We will.
