Howdy.

I have a lifetime of experience (one dog year) helping brands surprise and delight their audiences.

I specialize in creating strategic concepts and writing copy that elicits a response—a smile, a tear, or a tiny Arthur fist. I’m at my best when I’m working on scripts. I believe in collaborative creation, but I can also rock projects solo.

Beyond concepts and ad words, I write short stories. I have bylines in Paper Plane Press, Meat for Tea, and the Palatine Hill Review. You can read more here.

Beyond words, I am a musician focused on preserving and experimenting with jazz, roots, and folk music.

Beyond that, I love walking and fishing with my wife and dog (not necessarily in that order). Reality TV, movie trilogies, and the Sid Meier’s Civilization series are also a grand way to spend time.
